John Chamila is the Chief Executive Officer of Voltify Renewable Energy company, bringing over 15 years of experience in engineering and operations within the energy sector. He began his career as an Engineering Technician in the Royal Navy from 2006 to 2010, where he honed his skills working on ship propulsion systems, fuel systems, electricity generation, and freshwater production from seawater.
From 2010 to 2013, he played a pivotal role as an engineer at the world’s first biomass power plant in Ely, UK, where he worked on innovative fuel handling systems using straw as a renewable energy source. His commitment to sustainable energy solutions continued as he led the commissioning of the second straw-burning power plant in Sleaford, UK, where he served as a leading engineer and safety controller for over nine years, managing high-voltage apparatus and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Since 2023, John has been a leading engineer and Senior Authorised Person (SAP) at Viridor Renewable Energy, where he has taken on greater responsibilities in overseeing operations and driving strategic initiatives. As CEO, he is focused on optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing safety protocols, and fostering a culture of innovation within the company.

Noma began her career in health and social care before transitioning into the renewable energy sector. She holds a BA Honours in Social Work and has leveraged her extensive experience as a social worker with the local authority for over a decade to inform her approach to community engagement and outreach in the energy industry.
Currently serving as the Director of Marketing for a leading renewable energy company, Noma utilizes her expertise in social care to develop inclusive marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Her commitment to sustainability and her passion for renewable energy drive her to create campaigns that not only promote the company’s innovative solutions but also educate communities on the benefits of clean energy.

Norah Mucheke is the Chief Operating Officer of Voltify Renewable Energy Company, where she spearheads initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable energy solutions and promoting environmental stewardship. Holding a Master’s degree in Nursing, with a focus on healthcare administration, Norah leverages her strong leadership skills and commitment to community well-being in her role at Voltify.
Before joining Voltify, Norah held leadership positions in various healthcare organizations in California, where she led departments dedicated to maternal and child health. Her experience in healthcare has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the importance of accessibility and quality in essential services, values she now applies to the renewable energy sector.
As an advocate for social equity, Norah is a fellow with Charles Drew University in Los Angeles, focusing on community outreach to address disparities in health outcomes. Her passion for advocacy extends to her role at Voltify, where she is committed to ensuring that underserved communities have access to clean, renewable energy solutions.

Hector Mhlanga is the Chief Financial Officer of Voltify Renewable Energy company, where he leads all financial planning and analysis efforts, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, he prepares and interprets comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, playing a crucial role in guiding the company’s financial health and decision-making processes.
In his role, Hector is instrumental in developing and monitoring strategies aimed at increasing return on investment and overall profitability. His extensive experience in finance encompasses overseeing accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance, ensuring that the company operates within financial regulations.
Before his current position, Hector owned and managed Bio-One Santa Clarita in Los Angeles, California, where he gained valuable insights into the financial aspects of running a business. He also served as a Director at Sprint Petroleum LLC in California, where he honed his financial leadership skills. His background includes work as a Mortgage Underwriter, and as an Administration Pastor with Victory Church in California.
Earlier in his career, Hector held key positions in Zimbabwe, including Plant Manager at Wattle Company in the Lumber Treatment Division and Production Manager at Sperox Investments PVT. LTD. His diverse experience across various industries has equipped him with a broad understanding of financial operations and strategic planning.
